FAQ

Is this a toy?

No. This product is not a toy and is not marketed as one. It is a medical carry accessory designed to hold prescribed epinephrine and support consistent access in everyday life.

Is this a medical device?

No. This product does not deliver medication and does not replace any medical device, prescription, or medical protocol. It is a carry solution only.

Who is this designed for?

This product is designed for children, teens, and adults prescribed epinephrine, as well as parents or caregivers carrying epinephrine for their child in everyday, non-controlled environments.

Why is the design more approachable instead of purely clinical?

Carrying epinephrine can make people feel different or stigmatized. Emotional discomfort is a real barrier to consistent carrying. The design intentionally balances medical clarity with approachability to reduce stigma while maintaining safety.

Could other children mistake this for a toy?

Safety is a core design priority. The product includes clear medical identifiers, secure closures requiring deliberate adult force, and defined use-case boundaries. It is intended for use under caregiver or user supervision.

Does it fit all epinephrine options?

The initial design is made to fit the most commonly prescribed auto-injectors. Future versions may explore compatibility with additional formats. Our design is 6.5 x 3 inches.

How was safety considered in the design?

Safety considerations include secure closure testing, clear medical window for visibility, defined use-case boundaries, and feedback from people who carry epinephrine daily.

Does this replace medical advice?

No. Always follow your healthcare provider’s guidance regarding epinephrine use and storage.

Are they insulated?

Epi-Pals is designed to improve visibility and everyday accessibility. They have insulation lining but are not a fully temperature-controlled or protective storage solution. Epinephrine auto-injectors should always be stored according to your healthcare provider’s instructions and not exposed to prolonged heat or direct sunlight.
